McDonald's Give Back Night
November 15, 2023
We celebrated the McDonald's Give Back Night on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the Lubeznik Family McDonalds Location (7420 Kennedy Ave, Hammond). Ten percent of the proceeds earned that evening will be given to Scott Middle School. This night was also to highlight the partnership between McDonalds, Purdue Northwest, and School City of Hammond. The partnership is developed to help support students at Scott Middle School through a "Dinner and Tutoring" program. Purdue Northwest will be supplying tutors from their Honors College and McDonalds will offer it's location on Kennedy Ave to provide space and dinner for the tutors and students from Scott Middle School. This is a great benefit for our students!
Thank you to Lydia McNeiley, Jeni Bolton, Christina M. Maldanado, and Deborah Bachman for collaborating with me to make this a successful evening! Another special thanks to all the individuals who came out to support the event and the workers at the Lubeznik Family McDonalds. I look forward to working with our tutors and students from Scott Middle School!
